Fall perfection by the Black River - why can't this season last forever?

Fall into the falls! Well, not literally. No lives were lost during the making of this post.

Probably the best fall river paddle of the three - perfect weather and peak color!

I might have been foiled again, but I still found some fall color!

With over a million acres, you'd think I'd find something to shoot.

Late September brought the color and the clouds, but the beauty wouldn't be held back!

Often overlooked in the presence of more colorful foliage, I take a closer look at oaks and all their glory.

Do you feel a little guilty if you don't go for fall photos? I do too, but I'm trying to get over it.
