Wet pebbles are so beautiful! A friend of mine collects one from the ocean beach, puts them in water in a mason jar, and watches the seaweed grow on them. I don’t know if he uses sea or fresh water – but the results are pretty cool! A bit of sunshine is needed, too, I think.
I used to do the same thing with sea glass when I lived near the ocean. My best friend and I used to go to the beach, chat and search for glass. These rocks are dry, btw, but I am on Lake Superior again right now and it’s very warm so no ice and so maybe I can get wet ones this time!
